SiteTutor.com’s Code of Ethics

What you should expect from us, and what we expect from you.

Search engine optimization and web development is a serious and somewhat arcane business. Because it’s always changing, it’s subject to questionable practices. You shouldn’t have to sort out what’s questionable and what’s not. Here we spell out what we’ll do, and what we won’t so you have a clear understanding.

SiteTutor.com promises you our honest assessment of what you can actually expect from search engine optimization. This includes our review or your current rankings and our estimation of the chances of significantly improving your rankings.

SiteTutor.com is not afraid to say ‘no.’ You hire us for our expertise. If you request something we think will hurt your reputation or ours, we’ll tell you so and we’ll tell you why.  If you insist, we’ll say ‘no.’

SiteTutor.com uses hard numbers. We track your results with keyword search statistics, rankings and other competitive data, and we provide you with that information. That way, you know you’re money is well spent.

SiteTutor.com knows search engines. You can count on us to stay up-to date with the ins and outs of search engine optimization, website coding, interactive media and any other element needed to make your campaign a success.

SiteTutor.com simply doesn’t cheat. We don’t cloak content, mirror without purpose, spam or use re or misdirection. This means your results are sustainable and your reputation protected.

SiteTutor.com provides reports you can verify. We will provide regular reports detailing your keyword ranking and your site traffic. We’ll help you spot what’s working and what’s not. You’ll know how your website is working for you.

What we need from you:

We need your feedback. Let us know what you’re happy about and what, if anything, you’re unhappy with. We respect your opinion.

We need you to trust us. Know that we will always work in your best interest, and if it somehow doesn’t seem that way, ask us about it.

We need time. Do not expect instant results. It typically takes four to six months for a search engine optimization program to give solid results. Ask to see the results of our clients who have been with us over a year....They know results.
